OCBW Kickoff Party!

Get ready, Ottawa! The nation's capital is set to host its first-ever Ottawa Craft Beer Week. From August 23rd to August 30th, 2024, the city will come alive with the vibrant culture of craft brewing, and you’re invited to join in on the fun!

19 local breweries have come together to celebrate Ottawa’s thriving craft beer scene with a week-long series of events. Expect a spectacular array of tours, tastings, and music designed to delight everyone from new craft beer drinkers to seasoned beer enthusiasts.

Join us Friday, August 23rd at 8pm for the official kick off party to OCBW 2024! DJ Geoff Paquet will be there spinning some great tunes. We'll be giving away prizes all night and there will be fun drink and food specials! See you then!

Side By Side Weekend is almost here (July 26-28), and we’ve collaborated with The Side By Side Weekend to launch a delicious new pilsner that will be exclusively available at the festival and brewery in limited quantities.Palsner Two is a crisp, clean, and crushable New Zealand Pilsner brewed with 100% local malt and Motueka hops from New Zealand.

Come say hi on Thursday, July 18th at 8pm and be one of the first to try it!

The one and only HUG MOSH will be DJing to set the vibe just right!

Join us Friday April 11th for the release of our collaboration with Dominion City Brewing Co. : Glorious and Free IPA!

Spark Beer joins participating breweries from every region of Canada who have committed to brewing their own version of Dominion City’s Glorious & Free IPA recipe using 100% Canadian-sourced ingredients with a commitment to donate a portion of the net proceeds from every beer sold to a local, provincial or national not-for-profit or charitable organization.

For this delicious hazy IPA, we used malt from Mississippi Mills Malting Co. in Almonte, ON, hops from Houblonnière Lupuline Hop Yard in Chapeau, QC and yeast from our good friends Escarpment Laboratories in Guelph! (plus some oats and wheat from Alberta).$.50 from each can will be donated to Somerset West Community Health Centre who do amazing work in our neighbourhood.

A HUGE thanks to Dominion City Brewing for their hard work in organizing and championing this fantastic campaign. ❤️🇨🇦🍺
